The Fiddlestix Instrument Petting Zoo

fiddlestix2_smallerWitches, ghosts and ghouls rejoice! The UMW Philharmonic is holding their Fiddlestix Halloween “Spooktacular” on Saturday, October 27. Join us in UMW’s Dodd Auditorium for a meet and greet of the orchestra instruments starting at 3pm. Spooky stations will be placed throughout the auditorium allowing each child to touch and play the different instruments in the orchestra. We encourage everyone to dress up and celebrate Halloween with the Philharmonic!
At 4pm, the UMW Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing a Halloween concert featuring several spooky classics, including. “A Night on Bald Mountain” by Mussorgsky, “Danse Macabre” by Saint-Saëns and “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Grieg.  Don’t forget the traditional costume parade for the kids.
 This event is FREE and open to the public! All ages are welcome, those young and young at heart!
